Oh the joys......

So anyone that knows me know that I ABSOLUTELY HATE moving...... My husband on the other hand... Well I swear he would move monthly if it didn't entail a pain in the butt wife and all the packing and unpacking! The last time we moved I was literally 9 months pregnant! We moved the beginning of March and I had Madi the middle of March!! This time I am 7 months pregnant and moved!! I told him if every time I get pregnant we have to move this little guy is it!! lol!! We moved about 15 to 20 minutes north of where we were..... I feel isolated!! We do see deer and stuff so that's neat and Madison points and says dog!!! We then have to tell her those are deer she doesn't fully get it but that's okay! So about this new place... It is a 3 bedroom 1 bathroom place to me it is not too much bigger from our two bedroom that we had the only plus is that it has an extra room. More like a small office but hey it will do just fine for the baby. Madi actually has not had a hard time with the move. I was absolutely dreading having her being cranky and not sleeping but to my surprise she has done just fine if not a little better in this new place! I miss our old place tho... Okay those of you who know about the old place stop laughing at me!!! I hated it at first but our ward and the neighborhood made it so much better! I miss walking around the old neighborhood and showing Madi the horses and goats and all that fun stuff that was around there. I don't miss being on a busy street tho! Brett was proud of me though because I just started packing boxes and between my mom and I we got the whole house packed up!! Brett had all the electronic stuff and that's pretty much it! Well plus a few odds and ends but I didn't complain at that point I just did it! I kept getting in trouble though because I am "pregnant and shouldn't be lifting and doing all this stuff" but oh well I just kept telling them I'm pregnant not dying!! So our basement apartment is a little dark and a little noisy hopefully I'll get used to it soon.... On a brighter note we had a family bbq the other day and it was so fun!! Corry and Meg came down with the two boys and Rob came up too the only one that was missing was Nick.... sad... Its okay 9.5 months and he will be home!! It was so fun though just to hang out and eat!! Madi and Kai get along pretty well for the most part! They fight sometimes but Kai is such a good boy and will share. Madi will just take!! They play tug of war with some toys but we just let them work it out for the most part!! Kai thinks it is hilarious to tackle Madi though!!! She thinks it is funny for a second until she can't get up and then she gets mad! Madison likes to play mommy though and feed Kai treats and stuff its cute. Well I think that's all the fun for now so I'm going to stop babbling!! I'll post pictures when we get our computer up and running at the new place!!

Life's hard when your 1!!!

So I just had to show that I do do my daughters hair when we are going out but really why do I have to do it all fancy if we are staying home all day!! I am so proud of this hair do though and she actually didn't freak out while I was doing it!!!

So Madison's favorite word right now is CHEESE!!! I made Spaghetti and the only way she would eat it was if I put cheese on it!! So all we heard was MO CHEEEEEESE MO CHEEEEEEEESE!! We were laughing so hard!! She runs to the fridge everyday so I'll open it and she will point at the cheese drawer and say pease cheeeeese its so dang cute!!

So daddy gets in trouble some days right when he walks through the back door and Madi will grab his hand bring him to the corner of our front door and make him sit there with her. If he tries to get up and move he definitely gets an ear full! She will bring him toys and books but he is NOT aloud to go ANYWHERE for at least ten minutes!! I can't say he hates it!! She is so absolutely spoiled by him!!

My mom and I brought my nephew Kai and Madison to the Thanksgiving point farm and they had pony rides you pay $3.50 get to see lots of animals and ride a pony pretty nice and cheap!! This is Madison's first pony ride. She wanted off the horse at first but she finally got used to it and kinda liked it!! I am 6 1/2 months pregnant in this picture. Kai on the other hand didn't want grandma to hold onto him and every time he would come around he would take both hands off the horse and wave at Madison and me! He is such a crazy little boy! He cracks me up though!! He is so infatuated by his new little brother too its so cute! He gives his mommy a run for her money so to let her take two seconds to herself we steal Kai and play all day spoil him rotten then send him home!! Send him our way whenever Meg he tires Madi out and I love it!!!

What do you think does the car fit her!?!?!? My kid is 17 months and already wants to drive!!! Man is her daddy going to have his hands full!! This car would play this recording of these little kids laughing and every time they laughed she would have to laugh too!! My mom and I could not stop laughing my kid is such a cheese ball. Some days she makes us laugh so hard we cry. Other days so drives me so nuts I want to cry! Oh the joys of having a kid going through the beginning stages of her terrible 2's..... I may just go crazy when she really hits that stage especially cause I'll have a baby then and be more sleep deprived then I already am!!

My kid LOVED going down this huge slide all by herself!! We would have to help her up the stairs cause they are really steep and help her sit down and then down the slide she would go!! She is becoming a little daredevil like her cousin!! The more they are together the more she discovers she can do!! Its okay though because she realizes that she can do things by herself. I know I am going to be in trouble with a boy though. Especially if he is anything like his daddy!

I have an announcement...... MICHIGAN WON THEIR FIRST GAME OF THE SEASON!!!! No I am not kidding!! Brett was just getting warmed up for the season to start in this picture and he didn't really get to see much of the game but he was their for the end!! I hope they have a better season then last or else I may have to trade teams!! My Michigan family wouldn't appreciate that but sorry guys I just can't deck my kids out in a losing teams logo!! (LOVE YOU GUYS!!!) Brett loves the time he gets to spend with her and I love the times he has to spend with us!! He has so much energy its amazing seriously the kid doesn't stop!! He works 6 days a week comes home and plays with Madi.... I wish I had energy like him!! Maybe I could stay skinny if I did!! lol!!!

Black eyes and Anniversaries!

No I do not abuse my child!!! She decided to walk around with a thick plastic cup which she does all the time! She tripped over her feet and this was the end result! To be honest I got a little worried that I may have to bring her to an urgent care because it looked pretty deep and thick but my mom told me to wait and try to clean it off a little so I did and it ended up looking worse then what it really was!

The next day she had a beautiful purple eye!!! Her first shiner!! I just told her she should show all her little friends and tell them if you think this is bad you should see the other kid and if they mess with her she'll give them a matching one!! (i know that's so bad of me!!)

Apparently daddy makes a REALLY good lounge chair!!

We were so proud of her she went down the slide all by herself!! We would clap for her every time so then she would crawl up a little then get off the slide stand up and give us this huge cheesy smile and clap!! She is so funny sometimes!!!

My daughter snuck up while grandma wasn't paying attention to her drink stole it then ran back to the pool and continues to drink grandma's coke!!! She didn't want to drink it any where else but in the pool it was funny!! She is definitely all girl there is NO question about it!!

We just had our 4 year anniversary on July 23 and my cute hubby brought me home these beautiful roses. I made us dinner and made him pick me up a salad from Olive Garden (I was craving the yummy Pepporchinis that they put on it!!! thanks Lucy!! lol!!)

Grandma watched Madison while Brett and I went out of town for a night to celebrate our anniversary. Can I just say my husband did an AMAZING job!!! The hotel was absolutely amazing! It had a huge tub a big shower and a Kitchenette with a huge fridge and everything else you would need a fire place (Brett had to turn it on before we left it was funny) and Brett's favorite part and would have been mine too if I wasn't pregnant it had a hot tub on the balcony!!! The bed was so soft I didn't want to get out of it!! I tried to talk Brett into putting it on the top of our car so we could bring it home but as he pointed out someone might notice us stealing it so I had to leave it..... so sad..... lol!
My dad and Robby drove my dad's 1923 T-bucket car that he is fixing up to a mechanic shop of a guy my dad is pretty good friends with so the two guys can finish up the wiring and everything! I followed them over there and laughed the entire way! Madi probably thought her mommy was losing it! These two boys don't exactly fit in there! This is my dad's pride and joy right now all of us kids that are here have all had a chance to help him work on it. Even our friends!! It is supposed to be Candy Apple Red...... I think it needs to be a brighter red then this!

My dad is 6'4" look at his knee hanging out the side!! I am 5'5" and my legs even seem a little too long to fit in there! My dad is so determined to drive it and as you can see he crammed his legs in there! Look at how squished Rob and him are!Rob was practically sitting on the dad's lap!

Summer Fun!!!

This is my new favorite dress on Madi!! Her Aunt Jaclyn and Uncle Ryan gave it to her and Jaclyn even made her cut little bow! I always swore I wouldn't have a girly girl but I just love putting her in cute little dresses and stuff!!

I got to watch my friend Lucy's little girl Addie for a few hours a few weeks ago and these two girls had so much fun together!! They like to get in trouble together too!! Addie would feed Madi and Madi would bring Addie toys while she was supposed to be eating in the high chair it was cracking me up!!

This is my little diva!! We went to the Lehi Parade and Madi wore a "Future Miss Lehi" shirt and Mandie even brought a little crown for her to wear! She wore the crown almost the whole time and the sunglasses were just for the picture she doesn't like them to stay on!

Desi and I went to my moms to play and the girls found this corner so much fun to sit in and eat their suckers!! It looks like Kylee is telling Madi to ssshhh and keep something a secret!!

So we went swimming at Desi's and Madison was NOT a happy camper!! She hated it!! Then she didn't even want me she only wanted Desi!! So I took Kylee and Desi took Madi and by the way both girls had sun screen on and Kylee got darker and I swear Madi got whiter!! lol!!

My child has this thing with diaper boxes on the couch and then cramming herself into them!! Grandma only had a small one but she managed to fit herself into it!!

The fourth of July my brother Corry and his wife Meg came to play and eat yummy food at my parents! These two are so funny they don't really play together but they sure keep an eye on one another to make sure one isn't getting food that the other one isn't and to make sure where the other one is at all times! Sometimes they will play but Madi isn't into sharing yet and takes poor Kai's toys but don't worry he has figured out if he grabs it and runs she can't catch him so it makes for a lot of entertainment!!

Madi just sitting on her chair the boys were all throwing a ball around so she would just sit and watch then steal the ball and run it was funny!

Sorry I just had to put this picture on here! It looks like Kai is going to explode!! He is freezing poor baby but it looks like he is mad and Madi is laughing at him!! Don't worry we put the pool in the sun and took Kai's shirt off and he warmed up a little!

Madison thinks this slip and slide is so fun!! She would bend over too far and get sprayed in the face and then laugh! She is a goof!

She finally loves being in the pool!! I think we have put her in enough that she is finally liking it!! This is the first time Brett and I have ever seen her shiver cause she was cold!! But she didn't want to get out so we ended up having to bring her inside and put her in a warm bath until she was done playing in the water. Yes she is spoiled rotten!!

So for everyone I have not called, texted, or seen we found out today what we are having!!! Drum roll please..........................It's a BOY!!!! No joke we are totally having a boy!!!! Both Brett and I had feelings about it but then I have been double guessing it and didn't want to get my hopes up either way but when we found out I can't deny the fact that I was so happy!! I thought Brett was about to pee his pants and run out of the room and scream at the top of his lungs!! He is very excited!! HAHA we beat you Ryan!! Maybe this will bring you guys luck!! lol! Well I gotta run just wanted to put this on the blog!!

Happy Father's Day!!!

The day we said "I do" and our life together began.

The day he became a daddy and his heart melted for this tiny 6 lb 9 ounce baby girl.

She still has daddy wrapped around her tiny fingers.

I just wanted to say happy father's day to my wonderful loving, kind, generous, thoughtful husband! He has been my rock for the past 4 plus years and I am forever grateful to him. He is my eternal companion and I wouldn't want anyone else. He is the best father to our beautiful little girl. After a long day of work he still has the energy to come home and play and help take care of our rambunctious(sp) little one year old!! He works so hard to support our family. He sacrifices so much for us and spends all weekend nights working then sleeping 8 hours waking up spending time with us and then leaving again. We love him so unconditionally and love all the time that we get to spend with him whether it be 1 hour or 5 every moment with him is amazing. Madi knows when its time for her dad to get home and she walks around the kitchen and looks out the back door and yells DAAAAD DAAAAD!!! Then when his car pulls up out front she jumps up and down and bangs on the back door and squeels and yells and just starts freaking out until he hurries up the stairs and in the house and picks her up. I don't know what I would do without him and am so glad that I have a husband that will do anything for his family and loves me and our children unconditionally. I love you babe!!

MICHIGAN!!!!!

Madison wanted some of Jadens quesadilla and he was so cute and would feed her and he started doing this all by himself and we turned around and saw him doing this. My guess is she walked up to him and tried to snatch his food!!!

She was so scared of the water at first and then she just took off walking and she kept wanting to go deeper and deeper so Brett had to turn her around so they didn't go in too far!!

All the cousins minus Landen who was sleeping in the back of the boat. Brett and his brother both have girls and all the girls in the family have boys!! Maybe its to soften Brett and Ryan up!!! lol!! We will see if we are going to be adding to the boys or the girls in a month or so!!

I did not want to get in the water.... I LOVE swimming and stuff but all the sea weed and crap in this lake freaked me out!! It looked like pine trees were growing and some of the time they were right up close to the surface!!! (the only reason i got in was to go pee and the life jacket was to make sure i didn't have to kick my legs in the seaweed!!)

We spent a day with our friends Gail and Mike while we were out there and we went to the zoo and they had this huge park and pond in the same parking lot so we went and talked to the birds and Gail threw them bread. Madi kept saying Bir Bir Bir!!! that means Bird!!

My husband may be white but this boy can freaking jump!!! He can jump as high as a Snow leopard. I didn't attempt this I knew I wouldn't even be able to hit the blue one!! haha!

Madison wanted to try it out so she went up to the sign and stood up on her tip toes it was cute!! She always does cute things but when we try to get her to do it again so we can get it on video or take a picture she won't cooperate!

She wanted to drive grandpa Reeves jeep though so I told her to ask him for one when she turns 16!!! haha she thought she was so cool though moving the steering wheel back and forth!


This is Ryan and Brett. Ryan in the weirdo in the family we don't know where he got his height from!! He is 6'4" and Brett is 5'10" or 11" and the rest are girls! (we love you Ryan!!) But we got him and Brett and Brett's dad matching Michigan shoes so I had to two boys model them for me Brett's dad was sleeping so we couldn't get him in on the picture...


This is the view on the "Lake House" from the lake. Yes this is where Brett's parents live right on a lake.... I am no doubt jealous!! I love it though!! Look how green it looks!! And this isn't even the best of pictures of their property!

This is my cheese ball she looks like she is doing a courtesy laugh at me!! She has out of no where started to say words!! Her favorite it "UP"!! Whether she wants up or down she says it so we are trying to teach her the difference between up and down. Here is a list of words she says;

when you tell her k lets go nigh night Madi she walks straight to her room no fuss or anything!! If you just hand her her bottle off she goes!! Sometimes when she is really tired she will go in there and whine and yell at her crib or she will grab your hand and take you in there and try to climb into her crib. I'm sure there are other words I'm missing I'll add then as I remember!!!

We seriously had such a blast in Michigan we didn't want to go home!! It was so green and beautiful. Utah looks so ugly to us now!! It is just desert and dry and nothing to look at!! Oh well... I was happy to have my own bed back (no offense Rachelle I loved your bed!!) The only problem was Brett and I are no longer used to sleeping on a queen size mattress. Plus we had to sleep with Madison in our room which was okay the first part of the week and then out of no where she would start screaming and crying and freaking out and we couldn't figure out why!! We think it is cause her top molars are trying to break through.... She had a blast with all of her cousins and kept running after them and stuff. She took way long naps and by the time 8pm rolled around she would pass out!! Well the first part of the week. Anyway I thought I would share some pictures!!
