Family's

Grandpa Snow and Madi! She looks tiny in
his arms!

Uncle Robby at the hospital the night she
was born.

Uncle Nick! (he wouldn't smile!) He loves
his niece though!

Grandma with her 2 grandbabies!
I don't think she could be happier!

This is the cuttest nephew ever! This
is Kai! He was cute he wouldn't stop sticking
out his tounge!!

Grandma and Grandpa Reeves!

Aunt Rachelle. Madi totally passed out on her!

Well my little brother got his mission call! Yeah that's right he is almost 19!! He is called to serve in the Baton Rouge, Louisiana mission! He leaves July 2, 2008. He is speaking English but I am sure he will come back with a southern accent which will be so cool! Then he and Brett can speak in their own little southern language! I am so excited but so sad at the same time! I know he will be an awesome missionary. I am just so excited for him to go eat all the good food! He doesn't like fish and stuff so I can't wait to hear about all the fish and craw dads and everything that he has to eat!
Life is going well. I miss my husband all the time. He works from 8 am until 3:30 then I see him for an hour and off he goes to school until 9:30. His schedule is going to get worse before it gets better. He is so excited though because this week they are doing an intro into guns and teaching them how to clean them and stuff and then within the next couple weeks he gets to start shooting! The only thing that sucks about him starting this portion of the class is that he has to do night shoot towards the end and that means he is gone from early in the morning until at least 10 or 11 pm on Saturdays. Oh well he graduates July 8 and so I am so excited especially because I will be able to see him again! We are going to Massachusetts this summer for a week with my mom's family and we are so excited! It is seriously going to be so much fun. Nick will barely miss this trip which is sad. Corry and Meg and my cute little nephew Kai are going to be able to come though which will be fun cause we don't get to see them very often because of Corry's work and plus they live 6 or 7 hours away which wouldn't be fun to travel with a little baby! Meg and Corry are such cute parents! They are so lucky too beacause Kai is such a happy baby! (well at least what I have seen!) He loves his daddy though he laughs so hard at Corry. He is a good mixture of the two of them though. He is almost crawling and he likes to roll around places.
Well Madison is getting bigger everyday. She is enjoying her baths a little more. I just have to catch her when she is in a good mood. She is sleeping so well at nights but likes to fight sleeping during the day so she gets grumpy and cries. She is almost long enough for her newborn clothes which makes me so sad! She is already a month old and I can't believe it! It seems like yesterday that we found out that we were pregnant! Time defiantly does fly! Her grandpas and uncles are suckers for her its so cute! She is going to be the most spoiled little girl in the whole world I can tell already! The other day I put her on the ground on her belly and she totally rolled over! I think it was an accident but she has done it at least 5 times now though! She holds her head up so well and pretty much has since we brought her home from the hospital. She has an awesome set of lungs on her and her daddy just says that she is getting ready to talk every ones ears off which is true if she takes after me!!

Her first bath at home! She was not a happy!!
She loves sleeping on daddy's side of the bed!

Daddy's little princess

I love this dress on her! It's her first dress!

This is her first Sunday dress! She looked like an angel though!

I figured I should put a lovely picture of me on here.
Don't worry every once in a while I actually do my hair
and my make up!
I am really bad at this whole blog thing so everyone will just have to deal with it!! Well our beautiful little girl has gotten so big! Her doctors appointment a couple weeks ago said that she had grown an inch and she weighed 7 pounds 9 ounces! I am sure she weighs more now! She actually has a roll on her tiny little thighs it makes me laugh! Her little cheeks are getting chubbier and that double chin of hers is getting bigger! She is so strong she lifts her head up all the time and wants to look around and try to see everything. She loves to look at lights and she is starting to make eye contact which is cool. She smiles all the time in her sleep and has started to smile when she is awake. I just can't seem to catch he smiles on camera! She is getting better at sleeping through the night and being awake during the day. We had a few rough nights and I had to wake Brett up one of them because I couldn't handle the crying anymore and I was crying so poor Brett had to comfort both of us! He is such an awesome dad! He tries to spend as much time as possible with the both of us. He is gone to work from 7:30 am until 3:30 then he leaves to go to school at 4:45 and usually doesn't get home until 9:30 or 10 pm and by then he is so tired from the long day that he eats and goes to bed! He does do the last diaper change though and changes her into pajamas which I appreciate so much! Its really nice to have a husband that wants to be involved and wants to help.
We had Madison's Grandma and Grandpa Reeves and Aunt Rachelle in town this past weekend and we had a blast! It was their first time seeing her and of course she was grumpy! Thankfully they understand but I still felt bad that she wasn't cooperating! It was nice to see them especially because they live in Michigan and so we don't see them very often at all. Brett was able to take work off that Friday to spend some time with us all and I know he enjoyed showing off his daughter and spending time with his family. Seeing Madison with her grandpa and grandma reassured me that she definitely is a Reeves! I always kid with Brett and tell him it was rude not to let any of my genes through! Oh well she definitely is a daddy's girl!

Our Bundle of Joy

Brett took this when they were cleaning her up. She likes her feet
up on her chest. They say its a breach baby thing!
She has her daddy's feet!! She likes to hold
onto things with those toes!!
Brett in his cute PT uniform! I think he is wrapped already!

We were both very exhausted and passed out!

Our sleeping princess

This is the day we came home! She looks just
like her daddy not me!

This is her in her car seat going home! She did really well on the drive
and her daddy drove very carefully I was impressed!

Daddy and Madi hanging out watching TV.

We are very happy to announce the birth of our beautiful baby girl Madison Nikole on March 20, 2008! She was a healthy 6 pounds 9 ounces and 19 inches long! She is a spitting image of her daddy but very feminine looking! I always knew she would be a handful like me and she made that clear by not wanting to turn around and come out the right way. She wanted to say hello to the world butt first! I was having contractions for probably 2 to 3 hours before I called my mom to come over and bring me to the hospital which was about 7:30pm. I called Brett at school told him not to leave just yet because we didn't know if I was in active labor or not. Well about 2 hours later I called Brett and told him to come to the hospital he was going to be a daddy! It took him about 20 minutes at the most to get there food in hand because we figured it was going to be a long night. By the time he got there the doctor had broken my water and determined that Madison was breach and we would have to have a C-Section immediately. I called Brett frantically and thank heavens he was already walking through the hospital. Brett walked into the room and they handed him this cute blue jump suit and before we knew it I was on the operating table! They ended up having to knock me all the way out because I had a dead spot on my right side and they couldn't get it to go numb!! I don't remember anything after that! Next thing I knew I had Madison in my arms. She was born at 10:05pm. Brett got to watch them pull her out of my belly butt first and took pictures! So now he can say he loves my guts literally!! We were in the hospital from Thursday night until Monday morning. It has been a fun road to recovery and I am very very grateful Brett was able to take all of last week off. He is the cutest dad you have ever seen!! She definitely has him wrapped around her tiny little fingers!! She is such a good baby! She sleeps at least 3 to 4 hours and only wakes up at nights to eat. She sometimes thinks that she can stay up all night and that's not fun for me but she is still getting used to life. We are both so very thankful to have her it took us forever to get her but it was worth the wait I couldn't ask for a better husband or a better daughter.
