Baby smiles

I love seeing these little smiles when he is sleeping! He does these cute little laughs too when he sleeps! It makes me wonder who he is talking to on the other side and what funny stories they are telling him!! This is what makes the middle of the night feeding well worth it!

So far behind!!!

My baby girl turned 4!! Poor thing didn't get much of a birthday though... We hurried and did a little "party" with just the 4 of us. Grandma was awesome and brought over a cake and some dinner to us earlier for Madi because I was only 32 weeks pregnant and having contractions regularly so I was staying on the couch trying to get them to stop. Well they didn't and right after Madi was done opening up her presents Brett and I were off to the hospital!

A month before I had him so I was about 31 weeks pregnant here.

This was my present for my birthday from my amazing husband!!! I LOVE my new car! I have never wanted a mini van! In fact I have always sworn I would never ever ever have one!! Well here is my Chrysler Town and Country and I take back all the mean things I said about mini vans because this one is amazing!!!! Thank you so much babe!!!!

Easter with the kids!! I have to tell you these two both weigh 33 pounds and are just about the same height! Lately everywhere I go everyone asks if they are twins!!

Look how long her hair is! This is Easter at Renee and Bridgette's (Brett's sisters) apartment! They did a little Easter egg hunt for their boys and Madi and Weston the kids loved it!!

Later that day at grandma and papa's house! Those are my cute little nephews! Kai was so cute with his bunny glasses on! He refused to take them off!

The race was on with the 4 grand kids! Weston followed Kai around a little but mostly he and his daddy went Easter egg hunting! Last year he would run up to the other kids and steal eggs out of their baskets! This year he caught on to finding his own eggs! He kept getting distracted though wanting to open them and eat the candy!

Our princess!

The traditional adult Easter egg hunt! I was on bed rest and was told by everyone I couldn't compete..... But at the last second my brothers gave me a bag and let me participate! Let me tell you though they still love to tease me because they decided it would be so funny to give me the bag with a huge hole in the bottom of it! I didn't even realise until all of my eggs fell out everywhere!! Thankfully my mom had my back and brought out a bag with no holes in it so I could actually keep my eggs!

Seriously how can you look at this picture and not laugh!! This is one of those fake stick on mustaches! Brett and I couldn't stop laughing at this kid! He is such a goof and loves to be center of attention! If he isn't then he will make it that way by doing something goofy and silly!!

Look how cute these two are! She is such a big helper and Brett is so good and patient with her helping her and teaching her! They were putting the Easter eggs in boiling water to get the "shrink a dinks" to stay on! They are buds and love to have fun together. In fact both of my kids are stuck to his hips as soon as he walks through the door. Seriously I couldn't ask for a better husband or daddy!

After 4 weeks on bed rest and a short active labor our baby boy Casen Jay was born April 16 at 1:22pm! He was 4 weeks and 2 days early! He weighed 6 pounds 1 ounce! This is the first time Brett got to hold him! It was only for a second because they had to take him to the NICU because he was early and having a little breathing problems. Brett was an amazing support through the whole thing and while I was in the "observation" room he was so funny and kept me up and walking around and laughing! After all the funny weird things I kept doing and dancing and jumping I'm surprised he didn't put me in the psych ward after Casen was born!

These two are in love with their brother! Casen had to stay in the NICU for about 5 days...... It was hard going back and forth trying to balance being with Madi and Wes and being at the hospital. Thankfully I have an amazing husband that took care of them and me and everything at the house and anything and everything in between! He didn't complain once! He did all this on top of working full time and going to school! My mom would take the kids during the day when Brett was working and I was at the hospital and as soon as Brett got done working he would grab the kids spend some time with them and go to bed and start all over the next day not to mention trying to find time to come to the hospital to see Casen. Let me tell you how excited we were though when we were finally able to bring Casen home! We were both emotionally and physically exhausted him even more then me! Somehow we made it through that long week (it seemed forever!!) and are settling in at home very nicely.

You don't realise how big your "babies" are getting until you bring a tiny new born home!

So handsome! He looks just like his daddy and big brother!
