Its freezing!!!!

Weston's first bath in the tub!!! Needless to say he didn't enjoy it as much as I would have enjoyed a nice warm bubble bath!!

Mommies little helper! I got brave and let Madi help me make some yummy cookies. Don't worry the mixer is off!! She was having fun stirring tho!

She got so mad when I had to dump the tiny little bit of flower left in the measuring cup because I had to make her let go to do it! She thought it was so much fun and so did I!! I am loving that she is able to do so much more but at the same time it makes me sad to see my little baby girl grow up! Looking at Weston it really makes me realize how much she has grown!

Like mother like daughter we always have to taste a lot of cookie dough to make sure it is just right!! Brett was taking this picture and i was doing something else and she just starting sticking her fingers in it taking big scoops and saying "mmmmmm" as so kept eating it! She makes us laugh so hard some days!!

We went to the Salt Lake Temple to see the lights with Corry and Meg and their two kids and grandma watched Weston cause it was freezing!! Madi loved it she kept saying every ones names and saying "ooooooo" she seriously didn't know where to point or look she was going crazy!! She loves the lights and says "pretty" when she sees them!

This is in front of the reflexion pond. This never gets old going up there to see the lights.

If you can't see the resemblance this is Brett's dad. Weston even smiled for the picture!! 3 generations of Reeves men! The rest of the Reeves family need to get their butts out here though and see us!!!

Busy Busy Busy!!

My husband is the best!! He took Madi to the Aquarium and left me and Weston home so we could get some well needed rest! Madi loves her daddy!!

This is my little Eskimo child!! Daddy was outside barbecuing and she wanted to go outside with him so I bundled her up and she actually didn't mind the hat or gloves!!

Is this not the happiest daddy you have ever seen!!!?? Both his kids in Michigan and me. This was the high point of his day considering Michigan lost to Ohio.......

She loves to hold her brother! When she doesn't want to hold him she pushes him off so as you can imagine I had to snap this picture really fast so she didn't push him off the couch!!

So I guess her doll needed blue hair on its head and back..... Thank goodness it comes off in the shower she didn't like all the color on it after a little bit!!


Wow so having two kids definitely is tiring some days!! Madi always wants to play or get in trouble when I am feeding or changing Weston! She no doubt keeps me on my feet!! Some days I consider strapping her down so she can't destroy anything while I am taking care of the baby!! She still loves her brother but realizes he is staying so she acts out a little more and throws some major fits... Terrible twos are starting and oh boy are they exciting!! She is being so sweet one minute and the next she is trying to hit or throwing herself on the floor screaming bloody murder!! I haven't wanted to run away yet but some days I wish I had an extra pair of arms and hands to cuddle her while taking care of him. Thanksgiving was so much fun!! My Corry and Meg and their two kids were there and my older brother Rob was there too!! It was noisy with Kai and Madi yelling at each other and screaming and giggling. We ate so much food I am surprised we all could walk away from the table!! Like always everyone was surprised at how much food Brett could pack in! Madi and Kai fight like brother and sister but have so much fun laughing and playing together. Madi is finally picking up on playing with someone. The whole sharing thing with those two.... well maybe one day that will happen!! I am excited because Corry and Meg moved down her by all of us so we will get to play more!!! I hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving!!!

Weston Brett Reeves

This is not the normal size cabbage patch doll it is one of the smaller ones and he had his legs up at first and he was the same size!!!

Here is our cheese ball again!!! She was sssooo happy to have him next to her!!

So funny thing the morning after I posted my last post I went into labor!!! Desi, Lucy, and I decided to leave the kids and hubbies and have a girls night out so we went to eat and walked around the mall a little and kept saying wouldn't it be funny if all of a sudden I went into labor!! Then I kept reassuring them that if for some reason I did go into labor while with them my mom was going to kill both of them because she and my dad were in Hawaii!! Well funny thing I was up all night having what I thought was just discomfort and braxton hick and then about 5:30am my back and stomach kept tightening and hurting so I started timing and well as you can tell I definitely was in labor!! Brett was so calm when I woke him up he just laid there and made sure I was timing every contraction how long they lasted you know the whole deal. We then decided to go to the hospital so by the time I put on my sweats Brett had a bag full of clothes and everything ready and waiting for me!! Weston came 4 weeks early!! We weren't expecting him to come for at least another week or so but he was in a hurry to get here! He weighed 5 lbs 13 ounces and is 19 inches long! He is doing really well! We were able to introduce Madison and him today and Madi just keeps saying "baby baby baby" and she walks away then comes running back to make sure the baby is still here!! We put her to bed and all she kept saying was baby so we laid him next to her for a second and oh my gosh she was soooo happy!!!! We will see how long it lasts!! She is already grabbing wipes and trying to help me clean him! She is no doubt a little mommy!! (FYI my husband was the absolute BEST coach in the world I couldn't have asked for a better husband I LOVE YOU BABE!!!)

Anticipation......

We are getting so excited for this baby to come!!!! I think I am a little more excited because I might be able to lay more comfortably and breath a little easier with his feet and butt out of my ribs!! I am hoping he will decide to come before Thanksgiving for my own selfish reasons (i wanna eat lots of yummy food!!!) Madi came 13 days early so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that he will want to come early too!! Madi is getting so big and everyday she surprises us with her ever expanding vocabulary! She says so many words I never thought she knew!! She is finally getting to where I'll ask her to say something and she will and when I ask her to say a word she can't say she replies with "no". Ya its kinda funny when she does that cause some of the words she just doesn't feel like saying but can totally say! She has started to say "no way" and it cracks us up. She is hitting her terrible twos and it stinks because I am 36 weeks pregnant exhausted and my patience is starting to run low with the lack of sleep. Brett has been so good as soon as he gets home he takes Madi and plays with her so I can just sit and relax for a little. I definitely am glad I married a guy that has so much energy!! (okay some days I yell at him to sit still cause he is just too motivated!!lol!!) I think we have everything ready for this little guy to come. I figure we have clothes a bed for him to sleep in, blankets, and diapers so the essentials are covered!! Sorry no pictures from Halloween they will soon be coming we are house sitting at my parents for the week so as soon as we are home and I get the pictures loaded on the computer I will post them!

Oh the joys......

So anyone that knows me know that I ABSOLUTELY HATE moving...... My husband on the other hand... Well I swear he would move monthly if it didn't entail a pain in the butt wife and all the packing and unpacking! The last time we moved I was literally 9 months pregnant! We moved the beginning of March and I had Madi the middle of March!! This time I am 7 months pregnant and moved!! I told him if every time I get pregnant we have to move this little guy is it!! lol!! We moved about 15 to 20 minutes north of where we were..... I feel isolated!! We do see deer and stuff so that's neat and Madison points and says dog!!! We then have to tell her those are deer she doesn't fully get it but that's okay! So about this new place... It is a 3 bedroom 1 bathroom place to me it is not too much bigger from our two bedroom that we had the only plus is that it has an extra room. More like a small office but hey it will do just fine for the baby. Madi actually has not had a hard time with the move. I was absolutely dreading having her being cranky and not sleeping but to my surprise she has done just fine if not a little better in this new place! I miss our old place tho... Okay those of you who know about the old place stop laughing at me!!! I hated it at first but our ward and the neighborhood made it so much better! I miss walking around the old neighborhood and showing Madi the horses and goats and all that fun stuff that was around there. I don't miss being on a busy street tho! Brett was proud of me though because I just started packing boxes and between my mom and I we got the whole house packed up!! Brett had all the electronic stuff and that's pretty much it! Well plus a few odds and ends but I didn't complain at that point I just did it! I kept getting in trouble though because I am "pregnant and shouldn't be lifting and doing all this stuff" but oh well I just kept telling them I'm pregnant not dying!! So our basement apartment is a little dark and a little noisy hopefully I'll get used to it soon.... On a brighter note we had a family bbq the other day and it was so fun!! Corry and Meg came down with the two boys and Rob came up too the only one that was missing was Nick.... sad... Its okay 9.5 months and he will be home!! It was so fun though just to hang out and eat!! Madi and Kai get along pretty well for the most part! They fight sometimes but Kai is such a good boy and will share. Madi will just take!! They play tug of war with some toys but we just let them work it out for the most part!! Kai thinks it is hilarious to tackle Madi though!!! She thinks it is funny for a second until she can't get up and then she gets mad! Madison likes to play mommy though and feed Kai treats and stuff its cute. Well I think that's all the fun for now so I'm going to stop babbling!! I'll post pictures when we get our computer up and running at the new place!!

Life's hard when your 1!!!

So I just had to show that I do do my daughters hair when we are going out but really why do I have to do it all fancy if we are staying home all day!! I am so proud of this hair do though and she actually didn't freak out while I was doing it!!!

So Madison's favorite word right now is CHEESE!!! I made Spaghetti and the only way she would eat it was if I put cheese on it!! So all we heard was MO CHEEEEEESE MO CHEEEEEEEESE!! We were laughing so hard!! She runs to the fridge everyday so I'll open it and she will point at the cheese drawer and say pease cheeeeese its so dang cute!!

So daddy gets in trouble some days right when he walks through the back door and Madi will grab his hand bring him to the corner of our front door and make him sit there with her. If he tries to get up and move he definitely gets an ear full! She will bring him toys and books but he is NOT aloud to go ANYWHERE for at least ten minutes!! I can't say he hates it!! She is so absolutely spoiled by him!!

My mom and I brought my nephew Kai and Madison to the Thanksgiving point farm and they had pony rides you pay $3.50 get to see lots of animals and ride a pony pretty nice and cheap!! This is Madison's first pony ride. She wanted off the horse at first but she finally got used to it and kinda liked it!! I am 6 1/2 months pregnant in this picture. Kai on the other hand didn't want grandma to hold onto him and every time he would come around he would take both hands off the horse and wave at Madison and me! He is such a crazy little boy! He cracks me up though!! He is so infatuated by his new little brother too its so cute! He gives his mommy a run for her money so to let her take two seconds to herself we steal Kai and play all day spoil him rotten then send him home!! Send him our way whenever Meg he tires Madi out and I love it!!!

What do you think does the car fit her!?!?!? My kid is 17 months and already wants to drive!!! Man is her daddy going to have his hands full!! This car would play this recording of these little kids laughing and every time they laughed she would have to laugh too!! My mom and I could not stop laughing my kid is such a cheese ball. Some days she makes us laugh so hard we cry. Other days so drives me so nuts I want to cry! Oh the joys of having a kid going through the beginning stages of her terrible 2's..... I may just go crazy when she really hits that stage especially cause I'll have a baby then and be more sleep deprived then I already am!!

My kid LOVED going down this huge slide all by herself!! We would have to help her up the stairs cause they are really steep and help her sit down and then down the slide she would go!! She is becoming a little daredevil like her cousin!! The more they are together the more she discovers she can do!! Its okay though because she realizes that she can do things by herself. I know I am going to be in trouble with a boy though. Especially if he is anything like his daddy!

I think my kid is so freaking cute!!! Who couldn't love this little face!!

I have an announcement...... MICHIGAN WON THEIR FIRST GAME OF THE SEASON!!!! No I am not kidding!! Brett was just getting warmed up for the season to start in this picture and he didn't really get to see much of the game but he was their for the end!! I hope they have a better season then last or else I may have to trade teams!! My Michigan family wouldn't appreciate that but sorry guys I just can't deck my kids out in a losing teams logo!! (LOVE YOU GUYS!!!) Brett loves the time he gets to spend with her and I love the times he has to spend with us!! He has so much energy its amazing seriously the kid doesn't stop!! He works 6 days a week comes home and plays with Madi.... I wish I had energy like him!! Maybe I could stay skinny if I did!! lol!!!

Black eyes and Anniversaries!

No I do not abuse my child!!! She decided to walk around with a thick plastic cup which she does all the time! She tripped over her feet and this was the end result! To be honest I got a little worried that I may have to bring her to an urgent care because it looked pretty deep and thick but my mom told me to wait and try to clean it off a little so I did and it ended up looking worse then what it really was!

The next day she had a beautiful purple eye!!! Her first shiner!! I just told her she should show all her little friends and tell them if you think this is bad you should see the other kid and if they mess with her she'll give them a matching one!! (i know that's so bad of me!!)

Apparently daddy makes a REALLY good lounge chair!!

We were so proud of her she went down the slide all by herself!! We would clap for her every time so then she would crawl up a little then get off the slide stand up and give us this huge cheesy smile and clap!! She is so funny sometimes!!!

My daughter snuck up while grandma wasn't paying attention to her drink stole it then ran back to the pool and continues to drink grandma's coke!!! She didn't want to drink it any where else but in the pool it was funny!! She is definitely all girl there is NO question about it!!

We just had our 4 year anniversary on July 23 and my cute hubby brought me home these beautiful roses. I made us dinner and made him pick me up a salad from Olive Garden (I was craving the yummy Pepporchinis that they put on it!!! thanks Lucy!! lol!!)

Grandma watched Madison while Brett and I went out of town for a night to celebrate our anniversary. Can I just say my husband did an AMAZING job!!! The hotel was absolutely amazing! It had a huge tub a big shower and a Kitchenette with a huge fridge and everything else you would need a fire place (Brett had to turn it on before we left it was funny) and Brett's favorite part and would have been mine too if I wasn't pregnant it had a hot tub on the balcony!!! The bed was so soft I didn't want to get out of it!! I tried to talk Brett into putting it on the top of our car so we could bring it home but as he pointed out someone might notice us stealing it so I had to leave it..... so sad..... lol!
My dad and Robby drove my dad's 1923 T-bucket car that he is fixing up to a mechanic shop of a guy my dad is pretty good friends with so the two guys can finish up the wiring and everything! I followed them over there and laughed the entire way! Madi probably thought her mommy was losing it! These two boys don't exactly fit in there! This is my dad's pride and joy right now all of us kids that are here have all had a chance to help him work on it. Even our friends!! It is supposed to be Candy Apple Red...... I think it needs to be a brighter red then this!

My dad is 6'4" look at his knee hanging out the side!! I am 5'5" and my legs even seem a little too long to fit in there! My dad is so determined to drive it and as you can see he crammed his legs in there! Look at how squished Rob and him are!Rob was practically sitting on the dad's lap!
