Busy month!!!

We celebrated the 4th of July at my parents with homemade ice cream and usually home made chocolate chip cookies but this year we settled for Oreo's with our ice cream! Madi absolutely love it! We thought she would be a little scared by the whistling of the fireworks and stuff but she wasn't! Which was a huge relief to us!

It actually got a little cold so pretty much all of us had to put on hoodies to stay warm! Kai and Madi loved sitting in this stroller watching the fireworks! Madi started getting mad at me cause I was trying to take pictures of them and standing right in the way of the "FIRE" lol!

She absolutely loved the sparklers! Yes I held onto her hand the whole time so she wouldn't get hurt. I think it was mesmerizing to her! By this time though she was so exhausted! But she was such a good girl the whole time! Weston went to bed before all the fun began he loves his sleep that's for sure!!

My good friend Robyn came in town to hang out and to see me and my family for a few days and while she was here we went to the Second Hand Serenade concert! It was so fun! She kept making fun of me cause I was taking lots of pictures of everything! But hey its not everyday I get to go to a concert and I wanted to bring pictures back and show Brett cause I left him home with the kids that night!

We went to the concert with Robby and Nick! Yup those are my handsome single brothers! Nick came back taller then when he left not by much tho but still taller!

So I'm not sure if Madi is going to shank him or show him this but he is not taking his eyes off it! That is her "turner" tool from Handy Manny and her and Weston fight over the tools all the time!

This is Chase and Weston again. I'm not sure what these two were doing but they kept putting their heads together and pushing against each other! It was pretty funny tho!

You can't see it very well but he has one bottom tooth in this picture! And shortly after this he got his 2nd one in! He is army crawling everywhere and just this week he decided stairs were fun to climb!!! Seriously kid stop getting so big! He will be 9 months this week! He is starting to try to pull himself up to a standing position on me and Brett but he has not figured out how to pull himself on the couch tho. He likes to crawl up and over Brett and I am actually sometimes Madi! Its so funny now if Madi has food and is sitting on the ground he will crawl to her as fast as possible never taking his eyes off her food climb on her and put his mouth on her food and try to eat it! I swear we feed this kid! She loves to feed him now tho so we give her treats to feed him and he absolutely loves it to!! They are starting to interact a little more each week. If he is in his walker he will follow her everywhere and she will walk or run in front of him and say "fowwow me bruder fowwow me"! He new favorite game tho is when we hold him and say get her Weston get her and run after her! She and he both giggle so hard! Then we tackle her with him and they laugh even harder! So now she will go over to Brett or me and say "brudder get her brudder get her"!!! It is so funny! She is a little mommy and bosses both boys around. Poor Brett and Weston are now number 3 and 4 in the head of the household game! lol!! Some days it is questionable who is number 1 and 2!! Madison will now tell me no......... ya I'm done with that one! I will tell her no Madison you cannot have that and she will yell "NO MOMMY NOOO!!!!" Its exciting let me tell you! I'm excited in about 2 weeks some of Brett's family will be coming out here and we are going to party!!! Now we have a ton of stuff to do though! Wish me luck! Brett and I just got callings in our ward he is the Assistant ward Clerk / assistant executive secretary and I am in the Relief Society meeting comity! He is going to be very very busy once school starts and thankfully my calling will only be a couple times a month. I'm not looking forward to Brett going back to school I know I am going to miss him so much! This time is going to be a lot longer then it was before.... Oh well I know in the end it will be worth it. Hopefully I'll try to post more pictures when I take more I am such a slacker. Plus my computer is in the basement and it is unfinished so I don't like to bring the kids down here cause it is kinda cold and there is no carpet just cement!!!

Playing catch up!!!

So Madi woke up from her nap so I went upstairs to get her and this is what I find! She slept with all this on her bed! I was laughing so hard! She has a ball a few books the cowboy hat and a ton of other stuff underneath of her! Don't ask me how she was able to sleep so good tho!

Swimming at Aunt Meg's house! Javan and Weston are 3 months apart Javan is older! They were loving just splashing around! After a couple nose dives tho Weston was ready to get out!

I was only able to get this picture of Madi and Kai! These two were having too much fun and would not hold still long enough so I could take a picture!

Before the nose dives!! Weston is now army crawling everywhere! He is a fast little bugger too!!

I'm sure this is how the Reeves boys wish they could hang out all the time! Naked with just a Michigan hat on and possibly their Michigan shoes! haha!

We went to the Lehi Day's Parade this year! This is before it started Weston loved sitting in this chair and Madi actually scooted her chair closer so she could sit next to him!

We went to the Lehi Roundup this year too!! Madi loves her glasses! Every time we go outside she wants to wear them! We finally had to take them off of her when it got dark and she was not happy! I got her to actually start cheering on the cowboys! (we cheered for the calves to run away too!! hehehe!) My mom's hair is starting to grow out pretty fast now! I'm excited to have fun with it when it gets a little longer!

I tried to get Brett to buy this hat cause I love it on him! He wouldn't tho and it made me sad... Who knew my husband would look so cute in a cowboy hat!!!

My friend Traci came to Utah and we were finally able to hang out! She came to my moms and put the kids in the pool for a little bit! This is Chase, Madi and Weston! I had to post this tho cause look at my kids! They have their foreheads together and are having a stare down!! Weston saw Chase on his hands and knewws crawling a little so he tried the hands and knees thing and decided it wasn't for him and he could go a lot faster army crawling!

Here are our two chunky babies!!! Chase is 9 days younger then Weston but that is only cause Weston cheated and came 4 weeks early!! Hopefully we will hang out again before she goes home! (Traci you guys need to move back here!!)

So the past few months have been long! In March my mom had brain surgery because of a golf ball size tumor! It was a meningioma(sp) which if given the choice that is the best kind to have! The majority are non-cancerous which thank heavens hers was also! Within 2 weeks my poor mom had half her thyroid taken out because of a growth on it which was not cancerous also, and had brain surgery! So she has a battle wound on her neck and one on her head! We had to shave all her hair off so of course she had me do it and good thing it was just shaving it because I couldn't see what I was doing I was crying so much! On the bright side we donated her hair to Locks of Love!! She is recovering amazingly! She is back doing her same old things causing trouble and being my goofy funny loving mommy! Our family could not be more grateful that she is doing so well and for the amazing doctors that did her surgeries. We know Heavenly Father was watching out for her. On a lighter note we moved yet again! We now are renting a town house my parents bought which has been a huge blessing! It is a 3 bedroom 2 1/2 bath with an unfinished basement. We are hoping to finish the basement by the end of the year but we will see! For now we are grateful to have a really nice place to live! It has a little backyard too! The trick is trying to get my kid to go outside and play on the grass! She is such a chicken! Buts that one of the many reasons why we love her! We are now preparing for my little brother to come home from his mission! He gets in this Thursday (July 8) and I can't wait! We have tons of things to do to get ready for him to come home! It is going to be so much fun tho! He has 2 nephews he has not yet met and a niece and nephew he has not seen since they were 3 and 7 months old!! I have the next few weeks planned out for him! lol!! Oh well poor kid is going to get ambushed when he gets home! We are also getting ready for Brett's 2 sisters and nephew to move out here in August! I'm so excited! We haven't lived around any of his family since we have been married so it is going to be so much fun to have at least some of his family nearby! Now if the rest of them would just move out here it would be a total party all the time! (hint hint guys!) Weston is the biggest tease now! He will crawl up to Madi and try to touch whatever she has or grabs her clothes or something and when she screams he gets the biggest grin on his face! He has this little troublesome twinkle in his eyes that looks just like my grandpa Hatch had when he was about to be michievious so I'm thinking the two of them had a chat before Weston was born and my grandpa clued him in on some of his tricks! Other then that my kids are getting big (mainly him!) Madi is in her terrible twos which is so exciting.......not!!!!! We have our good days and bad days! But I wouldn't trade them in for anything! I love my babies so much. My husband is such a good husband too when he gets home he does daddy duty which relieves some stress! I love my little family and would not trade them for anything in the world!!

So Madi has finally started to interact with Weston a little more and the other day at my moms she ran grabbed her booster seat set it in front of him and made him laugh hysterically! I'm mad I didn't catch the first part of this because he was laughing so hard it was hilarious!!!

Sick kids....

Madison's new game is to push "bruder" around and run him into things and say "sorry bruder" its funny and they actually both enjoy the game!!

Madi was following me around this day with the little bathtub and every time I would stop moving for a second she would hurry and lay down in and and sigh it was so funny she definitely is getting a bigger and bigger personality every day!

She has now discovered that she can get into the swing so she will just sit in it forever and sometimes turn on the music and make it swing for her! Thank heavens this swing is heavy duty!!

Papa Reeves got to ride in my dad's hot rod..... Yes this is my dad's pride and joy! It is a 1923 T-bucket. There is just a few more things he has to finish with it and then it will be finished! We definitely have fun riding in it and he no doubt enjoys taking us all on rides! This thing has some major get up and go to it!

It was nice to have Brett's parents and sister Rachelle come up here and stay with us for a little! Madi was stuck to Rachelle's hip and had to do everything like her it was so funny!

This was the first time Brett's mom and sister have met Weston it was fun! Weston is just a goober and melted their hearts! Madi had so much fun having more attention and people to play with!

He had to have his foot up to be able to sleep! Brett tried putting his foot down and he put it right back up!

Apparently this is a climbing wall not a play kitchen!

She put on make up! Okay permanent marker all on her face! Thankfully it comes right off with a wipie! She kept telling me "mommy pretty makeup"

Here is my little goobers! He smiles at everything! He is almost 6 months old!!!

So the last 3 weeks have been hard and exhausting. Both my kids have had a horrible cough snotty noses and not sleeping at night! Madi still has a little cough but seems to be a ton better. Weston still coughs and he wasn't sleeping through the night anymore and was crying all the time which is totally opposite of what he usually is like so I brought him to the doctor and the poor little guy has a DOUBLE ear infection!! And I guess its a pretty bad one too! Thank heavens for anti biotics cause by the second day on them he slept through the night! YAY!!! Now I am trying to catch up on lost sleep which I seem completely unable to do! We are more then excited and ready for summer!! Oh and we are moving yet again.... We have no idea where but we are moving the last weekend of this month! Brett will start school in the fall! I'm excited but not. He will be working and going to school all the time so there won't be much time to see him but I know in the end it will be worth it! Hope all is well with everyone else!!!

Easter!!!

Its a tradition in Brett's family that the Easter Bunny hides the baskets so when you get up in the morning you have to go find it! So we have adopted that tradition into our family! I think Madi liked trying to find it! She would say "where'd it go!?" It was so cute! We didn't get her much cause we knew grandma would spoil her and she really doesn't need anymore toys!

The Easter Bunny got him a little lamb and he loves it! He holds it and cuddles it! Not to mention he tries to eat it! I think he wants Madison's candy more though in this picture!!!

This is Madison's and Kai's Easter egg hunt! They went crazy! Kai got distracted with just running for a minute but then got back on track it was so funny!! Meg and Brett had to go out and hold the baskets cause they were getting heavy!

So our Snow family tradition is a little kid Easter egg hunt and a big kid Easter egg hunt! This is a split second before my dad yelled GO! there really is no other pictures because we were running around like crazy!! My mom puts money in the big kid eggs! Its awesome! It was definitely a good Easter!!

Oh guess what!?!?!?! Weston now can roll from back to front! I'm so excited but then that means that the little stinker is going to be getting more mobile from here on out! AAAAhhhhh!!!!!

My babies are getting so big!! Weston is just tall and skinny and Madi is still my little petite thing! I swear Weston is going to be as big as her pretty soon!!! I'm excited Grandma and grandpa Reeves and Rachelle are coming in town this next week! Hopefully I will get lots of pictures and I'm sure we will have to much fun cause we always do with them!!

Happy Birthday Madison!!!

He has been in his own bed now for a few weeks thank heavens!!! He is such a good sleeper! He will sleep from 9 pm to 10 or 10:30 am!!! Too bad my 2 year old won't even consider sleeping that much! I don't lose sleep because of him I lose sleep because of her!!

So I got myself an ice cream sandwich unwrapped it when Weston spit up all over me! So I took off running to go change then realized I left my ice cream on the couch. So I peak around the corner and this is what I see! Brett and I were laughing so hard!

Madi loves her grandma!! When we go over to grandma's house Madi is attached to grandma's hip! We love my mom so much! Heavenly Father has been watching over her. We are thankful for the love and support and prayers! She is making an absolutely amazing recovery!! My mom is a fighter! I think the stubborn feisty Portuguese in her has definitely come out! lol!!

Look how handsome!! His daddy was very impressed! Thank you Grandma Reeves!!

She knows how to use Brett's IPOD touch better then most people! She knows which games she wants to play she knows how to exit them and find them its amazing!!

Brett did a good job blowing up balloons and putting them everywhere! I told him he had to blow them all up since he wouldn't let me buy any floating ones! It looked good tho!!

After her nap I hurry did her hair and had to take a picture before she ruined it!

So Kai and Addie were attached at the hip! They were best buds event tho Kai is all boy and kept picking up dirt and throwing it at her! She is a little champ tho!!

Lucy and Des had the kids out side screaming and cheering and screaming HAPPY BIRTHDAY MADI! It was so cute! I'm not sure Madi really caught onto the whole fact that it was her birthday!!

I swear these two are the most strong headed stubborn bosy little girls! They boss each other around all the time. One wants the door open the other one closed so they fight and yell over it! They seriously fight like sisters! Sometimes tho they actually get along! They seem to get along with everyone else tho! (don't let this picture fool you they have one hand on the box and are holding the other ones hand to make sure one doesn't take it!)

The only picture for the day with the two of them! He was a good boy and pretty much slept the whole time! And thanks to everyone helping with the party and with the kids and with the not so tasty cup cakes and amazing egg pealing!! lol hehehehehe!!! Love you all!!!

We blessed Weston on Super Bowl Sunday and then had a Super Bowl party at our house! (don't worry i took this picture 3 weeks after the fact! He is way to long for it in this picture if you could see his legs he is pretty much wearing capri's!)

Brett was attempting to give Weston a bath but Madi kept wanting to stand on his heals and jump! It made me laugh and to tell you the truth I didn't help one bit! I wanted to see how good he was at multi tasking 2 kids!!

Cadillac LOVES when the kids are around because they throw him food! He kept scooting closer and closer trying to pretty much get onto her tray!

Weston kept trying to hold Braelyn's hand but she kept playing hard to get! She is 2 weeks older then Weston!

This is my audience pretty much every time I want to take a shower. It seems like every time I go to take a shower he wakes up and she wants to come play in the bathroom.

She always wants him to come sit next to her so I put him there turned around then looked back and she had them both covered! She is such a good little mommy!

We went to the Living Planet Aquarium the other day and he was so fascinated by the fish it was cute watching him track them and everything!

Madi wanted to play with the saddle horn she would not look up! I put Kai on with me too really fast though and he thought it was so cool!

Hahaha funny........The guy was yelling at the top of his lungs that it was my 25th birthday and that I was a little embarrassed so lets make me more embarrassed and yell yyyeeeehhhaaawww so everyone around yelled "YYYYEEEEHHHAAAAWWW" and clapped... I was bright red I'm sure!

All the snow had finally melted we were able to go outside and walk and play..... ya then this hit! This is from my basement apartment window! Alpine gets dumped on so bad its crazy!! I had a foot plus on top of my car and there was more coming down!!!
