Really Behind!!!

This is Weston's first taste of a pickle!! We love the funny faces that he makes!!! He kept wanting more too! He also likes lemons too! He seriously makes crazy faces everytime he takes a bite but the funny little boy just keeps wanting more!!

This was our oh so exciting trip to the E.R. with Madi a couple months ago. She wasn't feeling very well at all in this picture but by the end of the hospital visit she looked completely different! She had color to her face and actually was smiling by the time we left! Thank heavens she started to feel better we didn't like the fact that she was so sick.

Our little tiger! He is suck a funny kid! As long as he has a drink and food he is the happiest little guy around!

So Brett was attempting to get his homework done but Madi kept bugging him. All of a sudden it went quite in the kitchen so I went in to see what she was up to and this is what I found! She went and got her computer and was "doing homework" with her daddy! She loves spending time with him and doing the things that he is doing! And he loves it too!

Aunt Rachelle went trick-or-treating with us! This is the two cheese balls!

What a model!

 So we know this guy that is kinda cool depending on the day....... JUST KIDDING KIRBY!!! My little brothers old mission companion took these amazing pictures of us! It was so nice to be able to finally get a few pictures of my kids. I just wish Brett had time during the day sometime to take pictures with us. I feel bad he is either at work at school or studying. The rest of the time he is trying to catch up on sleep, and trying to catch up with me and the kids. I wish I could just snap my fingers and have him done with school in an amazing really good paying job so that he could spend time with us! Hopefully he will be done within the next 2 1/2 years!! My kids did okay with these pictures though. Weston just wanted to move and Madi didn't want to smile. So Kirby just snapped pictures as fast as possible and they turned out as you can tell amazing!! We had my nephew Landen with us and Madi just followed him from door to door! We also went with my brother Corry and my sister in law Meg and there two boys so between the 3 older kids they brought home a lot of candy for their parents!! I mean for themselves! hehe!!  They had so much fun though running from door to door! It was misting rain up here so we were glad the kids were going fast! They even ran into a couple "haunted garages" and didn't get scared at all! I wouldn't go in them though I am a total party pooper and refuse to go into any haunted houses! I did however let Brett pick out a couple scary movies for us to watch so I thought that that was fair! I am getting so excited for the holidays! Thanksgiving and Christmas are some of my favorite holidays! It is getting even more exciting watching Madi and Landen look through all the magazines that are coming in with all the toy adds and they walk around saying I want this I want this! And then they make phone calls on their fake phones to Santa and order toys! It seriously cracks me up they are so funny! Madi and Weston have been playing so much more lately. Madi runs and tackles Weston and then he laughs so hard so she rolls around with him and over him and he just sits there and laughs! He is seriously almost as big as her! Its crazy! She was so tiny and petite and he is just a growing monster! Maybe he is average though!? He turns 1 this Sunday! I can't believe that he is going to be 1!!! Where did that past year go!? I mean seriously sleepless nights busy days running after kids makes time go by so fast! And I feel horrible that I have not taken half as many pictures of him as I did her! I guess that's the way it goes though! I am loving our house and our neighborhood still! (even though it is not decorated as much as I or someone else I know would like it to be cough cough Desi cough cough!! ;})We have so many young couples and young kids around here its awesome!! What is even nicer is, is that my cousin and my brother both live within walking distance from us! Its just sad we don't play as much as we should! I am getting excited for Thanksgiving though because my grandma and uncle and aunt are coming up from Arizona and we don't get to see them too often so it is going to be so much fun and there is going to be so much food! Goodbye summer hello Fall!!!

Weston loves to feed himself Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwiches! As you can tell he makes a pretty good size mess but whatever right! Its nice to be able to have him feed himself sometimes so I can get something done! I love his cheesy smile!!

Weston has now had to have breathing treatments twice! (as in he has gotten a really really bad chest cold twice and both times had to have breathing treatments) The first few treatments were horrible. This child is so strong! It was so hard to have to hold him down while doing this. It was really funny though because it turns into a huge family event when Weston gets these treatments. Mostly everyone tries to entertain him so he will stay still and someone has to stay by Madi so she doesn't flip out! She has gotten so much better now though and just keeps her distance and doesn't really look at him while he has the mask on!

He LOVES to climb on things. This is the new favorite. He climbs on it and just giggles and screams until someone acknowledges the fact that he has climbed up on the chair!

Yes this is a very proud man of his whole family wearing our Michigan shirts! I love Weston's hat! And this was the end of the day so just excuse Madison's hair she played hard and napped hard!

So I decided to strip Weston down and give him a bowl of Mac N Cheese. Well he took one handful and put it in his mouth then decided that wasn't fun so he grabbed the whole bowl and shoved it in his face and started to suck the noodles out of the bowl!!! After a little he got tired of holding the bowl up so he put it down on his tray and put his face in it eating it! We were laughing so hard we were crying! He actually ate quite a bit!!

So I decided Madison's princess couch is not diaper friendly! This same thing happened to Madi when she was little! They go to crawl off of the little couch and their diaper catches on the couch and it unstraps it! So here is Weston happy as can be that his diaper is halfway off. In the mornings now he gives me enough time to take his diaper off wipe him and then off he goes crawling away from me as fast as he can smiling from ear to ear!!



I made Madi and Landen some popcorn and turned on a movie for them the other day. Madi had her legs crossed before I took this picture it was so cute! She is turning into such a little princess! She is getting to independent too! Its crazy all the things that she says and does now. It kinda makes me sad that she is getting big so fast! She has to do things by herself and if I try to help..... well lets just say its not a pretty sight when I try to help!! 

Since we don't have a horse Brett is the next best thing! These kids love when he is around. They rough house like crazy and even Weston will start tackling Brett now its so funny! It is so nice for Renee and I when Brett comes home cause he gets the kids all riled up and gets all their energy out. I seriously wonder how Brett still has all the energy to run and play with the kids after working and going to school all the time.

My cousin Amber and her husband Chad and Brett and I went to my aunts cabin for an overnighter! Can you see the excitement in their faces to get away from our toddlers and just relax with our husbands!!!

This is the first decent picture Brett and I have taken in a long time! The trees were beautiful all the colors up the canyon on the drive up there were amazing too! It was so relaxing and so fun! We need to go again guys!!!

So along with Weston having bad chest colds we all got the flu. BAD!!! Madi started it and it landed us in the hospital for a few hours to get some fluids back in her. The poor thing was so dehydrated and weak she could hardly talk or move. Every time we would move her or she would move she would throw up. The poor thing is too much like her mommy when it comes to the flu. I wish she would have gotten her daddy's tummy. So she got the flu Wednesday and was still pretty bad Thursday but she slept a lot and relaxed which was good especially cause we were at the hospital until about 2 am! Then Friday evening Weston got the flu. Friday night I was so lucky and got it really bad too..... thankfully Weston only threw up a few times and then slept through the night and was fine the next day! Me on the other hand. Well lets just say I am lucky that Brett was home to take care of the kids cause I slept all day Saturday and could hardly do anything. Then lucky Brett got the flu Monday!! He and Weston recovered pretty fast minus having Brett's tummy a little sensitive to some foods but other then that they are doing so much better. Oh ya not to mention my nephew got the flu Saturday!! So yes my house is off limits until next week and then we can merge out into public and play with friends again! For some very sad news my parents dog Sam (the big Golden Retriever) died on Wednesday. He got really sick and wouldn't move and eat so my parents brought him to the vet and they told my parents that he had a tumor on him spleen that was cancerous and it had ruptured and he was bleeding out internally and he didn't have much longer. So my parents made the decision to put him down and not drag Sammy through more pain. It was so sad. We have had Sam for at least ten years! He was our little buddy. Anyone who knew my family knows how much we love our dogs and everyone knows Sam and what a good dog he was. The kids would flop all over him pull his hair smack him and he just laid there and would give them kisses and never growl or anything! I'm going to miss the big puppy!!! Other then that Brett is busy working, going to school, doing homework and trying to sleep. Madi is so cute she will hold a little picture of Jesus and stand in front of us no matter where we are and sing church songs! Sometimes we can figure out which one she is singing and sometimes we can't! But really it doesn't matter cause its just so cute to have her holding the picture and singing to us! Her and Landen love it when Renee turns on music for them to dance to. They clear the front room floor of everything and then just dance like crazy! Weston will even get into it bouncing on his bum and he will stand up holding on to something and bounce up and down. Its so cute! We are trying to enjoy the cooler weather but its kind of hard when all the kids are sick! The weather is beautiful and the colors changing on the trees and everywhere are awesome! Hope everyone is enjoying the weather!!!

This is another cute little face that I get to see every morning now!!

As you can tell not all of my family could make it to the temple with my grandma and aunt but it was still so fun to be able to go to the temple with my grandma. We don't see her very often so times like this mean a lot to me.



Look how cute my grandma is!! She makes my kids look so pasty white!! She is still my cute little hyper grandma that stands all of maybe 5 feet tall! She may even be shorter then that! (and may I add she is a "giant" in her family!)

So we have been busy for the past month with lots of family in town. Bretts 2 sisters and nephew moved here this last month! We had 10 people in my house for a little while! It was crazy!! We live in a 3 bedroom 2 1/2 bath town home! It is really nice though that we have a basement so we stuck most of them down in there!!! The kids had a complete blast with everyone thats for sure!! Brett's sister and nephew live with us now! Madi just follows Landen around everywhere! She wants to be just like her big cousin! Weston just crawls after the 2 of them trying to keep up and do what they are doin! It surprises me that he isn't walking yet trying to keep up with them!!! Its okay though he causes enough trouble crawling around making brakes for the stairs when no one is looking! He is a little trouble maker though but he is so cute doing it! If he gets in trouble he will turn and look at you with this cute little innocent look in his eyes like "what I didn't do anything"! It is so cute and funny!!! He crawls after me saying "mamamamama" I love it! When he sees Brett he is scream DADA sometimes! He has to eat everything you are eating. He is protesting against baby food! He only wants big people food. So that is what he gets! He is a big eater! He got sick for a little bit though and we had to do breathing treatments on him which were not fun to do at all. Not only was he upset but Madi would get upset and say "brother get off brother scary. brothers nose hurt noooo!!!" She would totally flip out though unless someone was holding her cause she for one didn't like it on his face and two he would cry sometimes and she didn't like him crying she thought that we were hurting him or something. We would explain what we werew doing and bring her over to him but she still didn't like it. He even had cute masks! One was a dinosaur the other a fish! But she still didn't like them at all. She is protective of her little brother. She is a little boss and knows what she wants and will try most anything to get it! The other day she climbed on top of our trash can to get ontop of the counter to get her daddy's IPOD touch! Renee and I both thought Landen had gotten it for her at first and then I told her to put it away and there she goes climbing like a billy goat! She is so funny! Her little personality is coming out more and more and it cracks us up! She has a little attitude some moments and then is so sweet the next! She has recently gotten some new fears which are not fun at all but we are slowly working on breaking those fears and helping her through it. Brett is in school now..... Not so much fun..... He works, goes to school, and does homework so we really only spend time together maybe one day a week if we are lucky. It is definatly nice to have his sister here with me though so I am not so lonely all day and night!!! I am finally almost back to normal though! Everything is finally calming down which is so nice!!!! Hopefully I'll be able to get more pictures on here soon! Our other computer is not working anymore and it has all my pictures on it so I somehow have to get it off and put them on our new laptop!!



Busy month!!!

We celebrated the 4th of July at my parents with homemade ice cream and usually home made chocolate chip cookies but this year we settled for Oreo's with our ice cream! Madi absolutely love it! We thought she would be a little scared by the whistling of the fireworks and stuff but she wasn't! Which was a huge relief to us!

It actually got a little cold so pretty much all of us had to put on hoodies to stay warm! Kai and Madi loved sitting in this stroller watching the fireworks! Madi started getting mad at me cause I was trying to take pictures of them and standing right in the way of the "FIRE" lol!

She absolutely loved the sparklers! Yes I held onto her hand the whole time so she wouldn't get hurt. I think it was mesmerizing to her! By this time though she was so exhausted! But she was such a good girl the whole time! Weston went to bed before all the fun began he loves his sleep that's for sure!!

My good friend Robyn came in town to hang out and to see me and my family for a few days and while she was here we went to the Second Hand Serenade concert! It was so fun! She kept making fun of me cause I was taking lots of pictures of everything! But hey its not everyday I get to go to a concert and I wanted to bring pictures back and show Brett cause I left him home with the kids that night!

We went to the concert with Robby and Nick! Yup those are my handsome single brothers! Nick came back taller then when he left not by much tho but still taller!

So I'm not sure if Madi is going to shank him or show him this but he is not taking his eyes off it! That is her "turner" tool from Handy Manny and her and Weston fight over the tools all the time!

This is Chase and Weston again. I'm not sure what these two were doing but they kept putting their heads together and pushing against each other! It was pretty funny tho!

You can't see it very well but he has one bottom tooth in this picture! And shortly after this he got his 2nd one in! He is army crawling everywhere and just this week he decided stairs were fun to climb!!! Seriously kid stop getting so big! He will be 9 months this week! He is starting to try to pull himself up to a standing position on me and Brett but he has not figured out how to pull himself on the couch tho. He likes to crawl up and over Brett and I am actually sometimes Madi! Its so funny now if Madi has food and is sitting on the ground he will crawl to her as fast as possible never taking his eyes off her food climb on her and put his mouth on her food and try to eat it! I swear we feed this kid! She loves to feed him now tho so we give her treats to feed him and he absolutely loves it to!! They are starting to interact a little more each week. If he is in his walker he will follow her everywhere and she will walk or run in front of him and say "fowwow me bruder fowwow me"! He new favorite game tho is when we hold him and say get her Weston get her and run after her! She and he both giggle so hard! Then we tackle her with him and they laugh even harder! So now she will go over to Brett or me and say "brudder get her brudder get her"!!! It is so funny! She is a little mommy and bosses both boys around. Poor Brett and Weston are now number 3 and 4 in the head of the household game! lol!! Some days it is questionable who is number 1 and 2!! Madison will now tell me no......... ya I'm done with that one! I will tell her no Madison you cannot have that and she will yell "NO MOMMY NOOO!!!!" Its exciting let me tell you! I'm excited in about 2 weeks some of Brett's family will be coming out here and we are going to party!!! Now we have a ton of stuff to do though! Wish me luck! Brett and I just got callings in our ward he is the Assistant ward Clerk / assistant executive secretary and I am in the Relief Society meeting comity! He is going to be very very busy once school starts and thankfully my calling will only be a couple times a month. I'm not looking forward to Brett going back to school I know I am going to miss him so much! This time is going to be a lot longer then it was before.... Oh well I know in the end it will be worth it. Hopefully I'll try to post more pictures when I take more I am such a slacker. Plus my computer is in the basement and it is unfinished so I don't like to bring the kids down here cause it is kinda cold and there is no carpet just cement!!!

Playing catch up!!!

So Madi woke up from her nap so I went upstairs to get her and this is what I find! She slept with all this on her bed! I was laughing so hard! She has a ball a few books the cowboy hat and a ton of other stuff underneath of her! Don't ask me how she was able to sleep so good tho!

Swimming at Aunt Meg's house! Javan and Weston are 3 months apart Javan is older! They were loving just splashing around! After a couple nose dives tho Weston was ready to get out!

I was only able to get this picture of Madi and Kai! These two were having too much fun and would not hold still long enough so I could take a picture!

Before the nose dives!! Weston is now army crawling everywhere! He is a fast little bugger too!!

I'm sure this is how the Reeves boys wish they could hang out all the time! Naked with just a Michigan hat on and possibly their Michigan shoes! haha!

We went to the Lehi Day's Parade this year! This is before it started Weston loved sitting in this chair and Madi actually scooted her chair closer so she could sit next to him!

We went to the Lehi Roundup this year too!! Madi loves her glasses! Every time we go outside she wants to wear them! We finally had to take them off of her when it got dark and she was not happy! I got her to actually start cheering on the cowboys! (we cheered for the calves to run away too!! hehehe!) My mom's hair is starting to grow out pretty fast now! I'm excited to have fun with it when it gets a little longer!

I tried to get Brett to buy this hat cause I love it on him! He wouldn't tho and it made me sad... Who knew my husband would look so cute in a cowboy hat!!!

My friend Traci came to Utah and we were finally able to hang out! She came to my moms and put the kids in the pool for a little bit! This is Chase, Madi and Weston! I had to post this tho cause look at my kids! They have their foreheads together and are having a stare down!! Weston saw Chase on his hands and knewws crawling a little so he tried the hands and knees thing and decided it wasn't for him and he could go a lot faster army crawling!

Here are our two chunky babies!!! Chase is 9 days younger then Weston but that is only cause Weston cheated and came 4 weeks early!! Hopefully we will hang out again before she goes home! (Traci you guys need to move back here!!)

So the past few months have been long! In March my mom had brain surgery because of a golf ball size tumor! It was a meningioma(sp) which if given the choice that is the best kind to have! The majority are non-cancerous which thank heavens hers was also! Within 2 weeks my poor mom had half her thyroid taken out because of a growth on it which was not cancerous also, and had brain surgery! So she has a battle wound on her neck and one on her head! We had to shave all her hair off so of course she had me do it and good thing it was just shaving it because I couldn't see what I was doing I was crying so much! On the bright side we donated her hair to Locks of Love!! She is recovering amazingly! She is back doing her same old things causing trouble and being my goofy funny loving mommy! Our family could not be more grateful that she is doing so well and for the amazing doctors that did her surgeries. We know Heavenly Father was watching out for her. On a lighter note we moved yet again! We now are renting a town house my parents bought which has been a huge blessing! It is a 3 bedroom 2 1/2 bath with an unfinished basement. We are hoping to finish the basement by the end of the year but we will see! For now we are grateful to have a really nice place to live! It has a little backyard too! The trick is trying to get my kid to go outside and play on the grass! She is such a chicken! Buts that one of the many reasons why we love her! We are now preparing for my little brother to come home from his mission! He gets in this Thursday (July 8) and I can't wait! We have tons of things to do to get ready for him to come home! It is going to be so much fun tho! He has 2 nephews he has not yet met and a niece and nephew he has not seen since they were 3 and 7 months old!! I have the next few weeks planned out for him! lol!! Oh well poor kid is going to get ambushed when he gets home! We are also getting ready for Brett's 2 sisters and nephew to move out here in August! I'm so excited! We haven't lived around any of his family since we have been married so it is going to be so much fun to have at least some of his family nearby! Now if the rest of them would just move out here it would be a total party all the time! (hint hint guys!) Weston is the biggest tease now! He will crawl up to Madi and try to touch whatever she has or grabs her clothes or something and when she screams he gets the biggest grin on his face! He has this little troublesome twinkle in his eyes that looks just like my grandpa Hatch had when he was about to be michievious so I'm thinking the two of them had a chat before Weston was born and my grandpa clued him in on some of his tricks! Other then that my kids are getting big (mainly him!) Madi is in her terrible twos which is so exciting.......not!!!!! We have our good days and bad days! But I wouldn't trade them in for anything! I love my babies so much. My husband is such a good husband too when he gets home he does daddy duty which relieves some stress! I love my little family and would not trade them for anything in the world!!
